For over 20 years, I’ve been passionate about helping people feel confident and beautiful through hairstyling. Owning my own salon was always a dream, and five years ago this May, that dream became a reality when I had the unique opportunity to purchase a salon space that was ready for a new chapter. That’s how The Benchmark Studio was born.

What I love most about my work is being able to empower other stylists to take control of their careers. Many of our stylists come from commission-based salons where pricing and schedules were set by someone else. We do things differently. We are a booth rental salon with an open-concept design that is both independent and community focused. Each stylist has the freedom to run their own business, set their own prices, and create their own schedules—all while being part of a supportive, growth-focused team.

I believe that success in this industry shouldn’t be limited by someone else’s rules. At The Benchmark Studio, we’re proving that independent stylists can thrive in an environment where collaboration and autonomy go hand in hand.
